OSCE chairman to visit Georgia

OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State and Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev will visit Georgia Feb.16.

During his visit to Tbilisi, the OSCE chairman will hold a meeting with Georgian Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.

The meetings will focus on the situation in South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Georgian Deputy

Before the trip to the region, Saudabayev said a main major direction of his presidency will be directed at increasing efforts to expand cooperation with Afghanistan, as well as the OSCE’s efforts to resolve the protracted conflict.
