Serbian Minister for Kosovo, UNMIK chief meet

Serbian Minister for Kosovo and Metohija Goran Bogdanović met on Wednesday in Belgrade with the UN mission in Kosovo chief, Lamberto Zannier.

They talked about the situation in Serbia’s southern province, Tanjug said in its report.

The meeting also focused on the role of the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) and on the need for compliance with UNSC Resolution 1244 in its activities.

Bogdanović and Zannier described cooperation so far as satisfactory.

As regards some issues, such as that of internally displaced persons and protection of their rights, communication and coordination should be intensified, they noted, the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija said in a statement.
