Serbia to solve Kosovo issue before joining EU

Serbia must find a way and solve Kosovo issue before joining the European Union (EU).

Walter Schwimmer, former Austrian Secretary-General of the Council of Europe made the remarks, pointing out that Serbia needs an innovative solution on Kosovo issue.

During a lecture at Megatrend university, Schwimmer said that EU doesn’t want to repeat the same mistake from the past, when it accepted Cyprus into EU family before solving Cyprus issue first.
