Moldovan interim president Mihai Ghimpu: No one can doubt that our official language is Romanian

“No one can doubt that Moldova’s official language is Romanian, because this fact is established by the Independence Declaration of Moldova, signed in 1991” – the statement belongs to Moldovan interim president, Mihai Ghimpu, 20 years after establishment of the first Moldovan parliament, elected in a democratic way.

“20 years ago a change took place and deputies who supported this change should be proud of it!”, concluded Ghimpu referring to first Moldova’s Parliament.
