Bulgarian foreign minister meets with UN Secretary General

Bulgaria finds itself in good position to balance the situation in the Balkans, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon said at the meeting with Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Maldenov, the press office of the Foreign Ministry announced.

The two exchanged opinion on issues concerning the region with an accent on Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Macedonia.

Minister Mladenov expressed his intention to spread the news about Bulgaria’s new active position in the Balkans, which follows the maxim that the victory of one country should not be a defeat for another, in the frames of his Balkan tour, which starts on Wednesday.
