Development of Georgia-EU relations satisfies sides

EU Special Representative for South Caucasus Peter Semneby, who is on visit to Tbilisi, met with Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze.

The sides discussed priority directions of the Georgia-EU cooperation, the ministry said.

“The sides appraised paces of the development of the Georgia-EU relations,” the ministry said.

They also discussed issues related to Russia and the situation in the occupied territories. The meeting stressed the importance of the EU observer mission and the Geneva negotiations.

Both sides highlighted the necessity of holding democratic and fair elections that scheduled for May 30.
