Moldovan-Romanian commission for economic cooperation will convene in Chisinau next week

The fifth session of the Moldovan-Romanian intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation and European integration will take place in Chisinau on May 24 and 25.

The commission was to hold meetings during May 19-20, but the session was postponed following the closure of the airspace owing to the volcanic ash cloud from southern Iceland.

The commission aims to develop the bilateral commercial and economic relations and to promote cooperation in the process of Moldova’s integration into the EU.

The Government decided to allocate 38,043 lei from its reserve fund for organizing the event.
