BiH left without IMF funds

Since Bosnia and Herzegovina has not met the conditions for extending the standby agreement, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) will postpone the agreed sum of EUR 38 million.

The move might reduce the budget of the entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the ten districts, although they projected revenues from the financial institution. Deputy Prime Minister Vjekoslav Bevanda says the IMF will discuss in September whether the authorities in the Federation have met the conditions.
