PACE President arrives in Georgia

President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Mevlut Cavushoglu arrived in Tbilisi. Chavushoglu stayed at Tbilisi Marriott hotel.

President of PACE will begin official meetings on Monday. Meeting with Vice-Premier, State Minister for Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili at the State Office is scheduled. After that, Chavushoglu will meet representatives of the parliamentary and then, extra-parliamentary opposition.

On Monday he will also visit the settlement of Georgians expelled from South Ossetia. There also will be meeting with State Minister for Refugees Koba Subeliani.

During his visit Chavushoglu June 13-15 will meet with President Mikheil Saakashvili, Speaker David Bakradze, Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigory Vashadze.

Negotiations of Chavushoglu with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court Giorgi Papuashvili, the governor of Shida Kartli region Lado Vardzelashvili and chairman of the Government of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze are also scheduled.
