Georgian government delegation, headed by Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, will arrive in Azerbaijan on July 23. Baku will host a meeting of the Georgian-Azerbaijani Inter-governmental Commission, Nikoloz Mchedlishvili, spokesman of Georgia’s Prime Minister.
“This is a regular meeting which is held once in six months, and covers issues of bilateral cooperation,” he said.
This meeting will focus on agreed issues on gas supplies, construction of 500-KWt power lines, construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, construction of the Rustavi-Baku highway.
After the meeting, Georgian Prime Minister will meet with his Azerbaijani counterpart Artur Rasizadeh. Also he is supposed to meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
