Serbian Prime Minister calls extraordinary govt sitting over Kosovo issue

Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic called an extraordinary sitting of the government to examine the decision of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, which ruled that Kosovo’s independence does not violate the international law.

“The government believes that ICJ’s ruling requires detailed analysis and we will launch an international initiative so as to prepare the country for the upcoming debates at the UN General Assembly,” Cvetkovic remarked.

The prime minister calls for all citizens and Kosovo Serbs not to give in to provocations.
