Romania hosts BLACKSEAFOR meeting

Romania hosted the meeting of Black Sea Countries’ Navy Commanders “BLACKSEAFOR”. “BLACKSEAFOR” Command has been transferred to the Romanian naval forces on a rotating basis.

There were held events dedicated to the navy, which was attended by Georgian Border Police Deputy Head, Director of the Coast Guard, First Rank Captain, Besik Shengelia ,and representatives of the department.

In the framework of cooperation “BLACKSEAFOR”, Romania hosts a summer activation, which involves navigating means of the Black Sea Countries naval forces and the crew. The Georgian Border Police Coast Guard Department’s two officers are invited at the office “GOMBLACKSEAFOR” (the officer for public relations) and “OPBLACKSEAFOR” (staff officer).

Participants will visit the ports of Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.
