Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic: Serbia can’t join EU unless it solves Kosovo issue

Serbia can’t join the European Union (EU) unless it solves Kosovo issue, but same goes for Kosovo as it can’t join EU unless all EU member states recognize Kosovo’s independence.

It is impossible all Western Balkan countries to join EU before Kosovo issue and its status are solved, Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Bozidar Djelic said.

He said that the desire for entering EU is a great boost to reach an agreement on Kosovo issue.
