Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has been received by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in New York City. The meeting took place after the opening of the UN General Assembly summit on the Millenium Development Goals.
As during his meeting with the Chair of the 65th regular session of the UN Joseph Deiss, the Bulgarian PM has received praise from UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon for Bulgaria’s role in the Balkans.
“The international community relies on us very much as a nation with political, financial, economic – and even religious – stability. My friendships with the leaders of Serbian and the Prime Minister of Kosovo are also important in that respect,” Borisov explained as cited by bTV.
