Kosovo President resigns

Kosovo President Fatmir Sejdiu has tendered his resignation following a court ruling that he breached the Constitution when he preserved his post in the party, while being head of state at the same time.

On Friday the Constitutional Court ruled that Sejdiu violated the Constitution, occupying both the posts of president and chairman of the political party Democratic League of Kosovo.
