Cooperation Agreement between the Moldovan and Romanian Ministers of Economy, concluded in Bucharest

The Republic of Moldova Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Economy, Commerce and Business Environment of Romania concluded a cooperation agreement Monday, in Bucharest.  The agreement was concluded by the Moldovan Deputy Minister of Economy, Octavian Calmac, and Karoly Borbely, Secretary of State of the Romanian Ministry of Economy.

The document focuses on the development of prior ways of cooperation, as well as enhancement of bilateral affairs in the areas Moldovan and Romanian ministries are in charge of such as: promotion of trade and attraction of investment; energetic sector (power, fuel and natural gas).

The parties will develop special programs of concrete actions and will organize some mutual negotiations and work visits, including within yearly sessions of the Moldovan-Romanian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation and European integration.
