Montenegro and Serbia agreed on extradition deal

Montenegro and Serbia have reached an agreement on mutual extradition of citizens who have committed acts of organized crime and corruption. The deal also refers to money laundry and crimes against humanity and other acts under protection of international law. The agreement was reached at a consultative meeting of representatives of the two countries’ justice ministries, the Montenegrin Justice Ministry said, adding that the extradition for other criminal acts will be discussed soon.

The two ministries’ negotiating teams, headed by assistant ministers of Serbia and Montenegro, met in Podgorica on September 24.
