Polish President in visit to Romania

Polish President Bronislaw Komorowski is paying a one day official visit to Romania where he is having talks with Romanian President Traian Basescu.

One of the points of President Komorowski’s visit to Bucharest includes the signing of an Action Plan to the Declaration on Strategic Partnership.

“Agreements such as the Polish-Romanian collaboration in the case of NATO’s strategic partnership plans attest to the fact that Poland and Romania share a host of common aims and views and that this strategic partnership is not just a meaningless declaration as it translates to concrete steps,”  Polish President Komorowski said.

He will also hold talks with Romanian PM Emil Boc, Chairwoman of the House of Deputies Roberta Anastase and Senate Chairman Mircea Geona.
