Montenegro to publish documents related to the deportation of Bosnian refugees in 1992

Montenegro’s government will declassify all documents related to the deportation of Bosnian refugees in 1992, in order to shed full light on the events, Deputy Prime Minister Svetozar Marovic announced on Wednesday (October 27th). Responding to a lawmaker’s question, Marovic confirmed that the National Security Agency has some classified documents regarding the matter. Nine former police officers are currently on trial for the illegal deportation of Bosniak civilians from Montenegro in 1992. Over 79 Bosniaks were handed over to Bosnian Serbs, who killed most of them.
