Dodik names RS PM designate

President of the Serb republic (RS) in Bosnia Milorad Dodik announced on Tuesday that he has named Aleksandar Džombić prime minister designate. The 42-year-old previously served as minister of finance of the government of the Serb entity.

According to the Constitution, Džombić now has 40 days to put together his cabinet.

The composition of the government has to be approved by the RS parliament. It is expected that RS will have a new government by mid-December.
