Ukrainian President: Our country is a reliable bridge between Europe, Russia, United States

Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych sees Ukraine as “a reliable bridge” between the major economic centers of the world – Europe, Russia and the United States.

“Ukraine wants to be a reliable bridge between large, powerful and economically developed centers of the world such as Europe, Russia and the United States. Ukraine’s role is to unite the efforts of these global economic centers, and of course, pursue its own national interests,” he said at a joint press conference with Latvian President Valdis Zatlers following talks in Riga on Wednesday.
