BiH: 1993 Serb victims commemorated

The village of Kravice, in eastern Bosnia, held on Wednesday a memorial service to mark 18 years since the murder of 49 of its villagers.

The Bosnian Muslim forces commanded by Naser Orić killed the Serbs on Orthodox Christmas morning, January 7, 1993.  80 more were injured and seven are still listed as missing. The attackers torched 688 Serb homes and over 200 other facilities.

The memorial was followed by a commemoration of some 3,400 Serbs who were killed in the eastern Bosnia region during the 1992-95 war.
