Bosnian parties met for a possible coalition

The main Serb parties, the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats and the Serb Democratic Party, the two main Croat parties HDZ BiH and HDZ 1990, as well as the Bosniak Union for a Better Future, met on Monday (January 10th) in Sarajevo about forming a possible coalition for the new state-level government. The main Bosniak parties, the Social Democratic Party, the Party of Democratic Action and the Party for BiH refused to attend the meeting. Though it did not produce a concrete agreement, the five parties did participate said new governments must be formed at all levels of BiH without delay and agreed to talk again soon. Together, the five hold 21 of the 42 seats in the state-level parliament.
