Serbia has prepared all answers for EU Questionnaire

The Serbian government announced it has prepared answers to all the questions from the European Commission Questionnaire.

The answers are currently being checked and translated, said the government. Serbia is to hand the answers to the Commission on Jan. 31, 2011.

Based on the answers to the Questionnaire, the Commission will issue an Opinion (Avis) on whether the future candidate is ready for the status and the next stage — defining an approximate date for accession talks, on which the EU member states decide by consensus.

The Commission will analyze the answers and, if necessary, send additional questions and expert missions.
