Kosovo Municipality is thinking to sue Serbia for war crimes

The mayor of the Kosovan municipality of Đeneral Jankovic Rufki Suma and the municipal councilors want to sue Serbia for war crimes committed on the territory of the municipality in 1999. The initiative was welcomed by experts in human rights in Kosovo.

According to the executive director of the Council for Human Rights and Freedoms Bexhet Salja the initiative is a good idea, but it is difficult to say whether it will be successful due to the relations with Serbia.
