NATO Secretary General on South Caucasus: 2011 is significant for Georgia’s European path

NATO Secretary General on South Caucasus, James Appathurai, said that Georgia needs to continue implementing necessary reforms, in particular democratic reforms to advance its Euro-Atlantic aspirations.

2011 is an important year in this regard and Allies will follow carefully the developments in Georgia. They will also continue assisting these reforms through the well established framework of NATO-Georgia cooperation, he said.
