Croatian President met Slovenian counterpart

Relations between Slovenia and Croatia are constantly improving, the two countries’ presidents said on Wednesday, while expressing support for Croatia’s EU accession negotiations.

Slovenian President Danilo Tuerk and Croatian President Ivo Josipovic said that Croatia’s completion of EU membership talks is in the interest of both countries as well as Europe.

“We put a lot of emphasis in the talks on the successful completion of Croatia’s accession to the European Union. That’s extremely important for Croatia, as well as for Slovenia as a neighbouring country and for Europe as a whole,” Tuerk told reporters after meeting with Josipovic in Otocec Ob Krki, Slovenia, on Wednesday.
