EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fuele said on Saturday (March 26th) that there is no enlargement fatigue and this year will be important for the process. Fuele held talks with Montenegrin Prime Minister Igor Luksic on the sidelines of the Brussels forum. He reiterated that each country will be assessed based on its own merits in the EU accession process and he hailed consensus in Montenegro regarding the country’s EU bid. Luksic reassured Fuele that Podgorica is doing its best to meet the EU-set criteria in order to open accession talks.
