Kosovo assembly will probably choose a new president next week

Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Rexhepi said Sunday that the Kosovo assembly will probably choose a new president next week.

“The opposition needs to be constructive and it cannot boycott the assembly because they certainly didn’t get the votes for that,” the interior minister stressed.

He also said that Kosovo was “almost four years” away from the parliamentary elections.

Early parliamentary elections, organized by the Priština institutions, were held in December 2010.
