Greece`s President tours historic core of Baku

Visiting President of the Hellenic Republic Karolos Papoulias has today toured the Icharishahar, Inner City, historic core of Azerbaijan`s capital.

He was informed about the Icharishahar which was included in the UNESCO`s World Heritage List.Papoulias visited the Maiden Tower, the Palace of Shirvanshahs and Buhara karavansaray.

The Greek President signed the Icharishahar`s honorary guests book.The President was presented with keepsakes.
