Armenia, Georgia discuss cooperation and regional stability

On April 13 Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia, Tengiz Sharmanashvili.

Seyran Ohanyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his new diplomatic mission and voiced hope that his appointment would serve as a new impetus for the development of Armenian-Georgian military cooperation.

Issues related to Armenian-Georgian cooperation in the field of defense were discussed.

Attaching importance to the defense cooperation with Georgia, Seyran Ohanyan said it could contribute to reinforcement of regional stability and security.
