The European Commission (EC) will continue providing Moldova with a financial support for the education sector upgrading.
At the meeting of Minister of Education Mihai Sleahtitchi with EC regional coordinator for Moldova Angelo Borgogni on Thursday, the parts considered financing priorities for 2012-2013 taking into account the structural reforms in general education, as well as vocational, secondary and higher education.
The Minister said that Moldova needs to upgrade the education sector within interest groups, as well as the higher education system. It is necessary to also implement adult population education projects.
Sleahtitchi thanked the European Commission for the aid worth of 13 million provided for 60 projects in the education sector since 1993.
