Stefan Fule discuss EU-Georgia relations with Georgian deputy PM

Georgian Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze is on an official visit to Brussels where he met with EU Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Fule.

Their conversation touched upon deepening relations between Georgia and the EU, democratic reforms in the country, negotiations with the EU on an associative agreement, multilateral and bilateral relations, and the liberalization of the visa regime.

Baramidze and Fule also discussed relations between Georgia and the EU, conflict resolution and strengthening the EU’s role in this process, and the need to increase pressure on Russia to fulfill a ceasefire agreement signed through the EU’s mediation.
