Moldova’s Acting President Marian Lupu to visit Romania on April 28

Head of Parliament and Acting President of Moldova Marian Lupu goes on an official two-day visit to Romania on April 28, at the invitation of Romania’s President Traian Basescu. 

According to the presidential press service, Marian Lupu will have meetings with high-ranking Romanian officials. The aim of the visit is to develop the bilateral relations between the two countries and to obtain Romania’s sustainable support for Moldova’s European integration aspirations.

The program of the visit includes meetings with President Traian Basescu, chairman of the Senate Mircea Geoana, chairman of the Chamber of Deputies Roberta Anastase, Prime Minister Emil Boc and leaders of the parliamentary groups.
