Head of the Belgrade negotiating team visits Priština

Head of the Belgrade negotiating team Borislav Stefanović is visiting Priština today where he will meet with Kosovo officials.

This is the first time since Kosovo Albanians unilaterally declared independence that a Serbian official is visiting Priština.

According to earlier announcements, Stefanović will discuss the topics of the dialogue that the two parties are having in Brussels with his Kosovo Albanian counterpart Edita Tahiri and Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci.

Stefanović himself stated ahead of the trip that the visit “has nothing to do with any attributes of statehood or with recognition of Kosovo’s independence, and that it therefore cannot be a state visit”.
