Turkmen President in Romania to discuss cooperation

The Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov and the Romanian President Traian Basescu will meet at the Cotroceni Presidential Palace in Bucharest on Thursday, the Turkmen government said.

The meeting will focus on key cooperation directions and the possibility of its diversification and gradual advancing in order to bring mutually beneficial partnership into line with new frames that meet modern realities.

A protocol is expected to be signed on the results of the meeting. Two countries are ready to cooperate in trade and economic, fuel and energy sectors, in the sphere of transport, textile industry, agriculture and tourism.
