Moldova and Ukraine will open a joint border station before 2012

Moldova and Ukraine will open joint border station Unguri-Bronita before 2012. The agreement on project implementation was achieved between the customs services of Moldova and Ukraine that signed the respective letter of intent.

According to the Moldovan Customs Service, the project is aimed at adjusting the customs infrastructure in conformity with the European Union standards. It will be financed in full by the European Commission that will assign by half of the sum to each of Moldova and Ukraine.
