Speaker and interim President of Moldova Marian Lupu met with the United States ambassador and the EU ambassadors accredited in Chisinau.
The head of the EU Delegation, Dirk Schuebel, told the Moldovan head of the state about the EU’s decision to continue supporting Moldova on the path of internal reforms and European integration. Romania’s Ambassador Marius Lazurca reiterated his country’s will to extend and improve bilateral relationships. A similar position was voiced by US Ambassador Asif Chaudry, who spoke about his country’s support for European reforms in Chisinau.
Marian Lupu said that the parties in the Alliance for European Integration could fulfill their engagements of European integration for Moldova only together. This is the only way to ensure the necessary progress for raising people’s standard of living, he added.
