Montenegrin PM: Bulgaria’s experience in EU, NATO accession is valuable for us

Having met his Bulgarian counterpart Boyko Borisov, Montenegro’s Prime Minister Igor Luksic expressed gratitude for Bulgaria’s support in Montenegro’s NATO and European Union accession.

The two held talks within the Bulgarian government leader’s official visit to Podgorica.

“Bulgaria’s experience is valuable to Montenegro. The challenges for the region are common and Bulgaria has already walked this path,” said Luksic.

In the presence of the two prime ministers Bulgarian Deputy Interior Minister Dimitar Tsanchev and Montenegrin state secretary for European integration Slavica Milacic inked a memorandum of understanding between the two countries about European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
