Kosovo’s chief negotiator: Belgrade-Pristina deal is important to people

Belgrade and Pristina have reached important agreements which will affect people’s life, said Edita Tahiri, head of Kosovo’s negotiating team.

The fifth round of the Serbian-Kosovan dialog finished on Friday in Brussels. Negotiators agreed to enable the free movement of people across the contentious border and resolve problems caused by Serbia holding onto civil registries.

“The free movement agreement means Kosovan nationals will be able to travel via Serbia free with their identification documents,” said Tahiri.
