Hauge Tribunal: Šešelj will enter his plea today on contempt of court charges

Serb Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Šešelj will enter his plea today on contempt of court charges before the Hague Tribunal.

The Hague Tribunal charged Šešelj with contempt for refusing to comply with a court order and remove documents that reveal the names of protected witnesses, who testified in his trial for crimes in Croatia, Vojvodina and Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1991 until 1993, from his website in late May. The SRS leader was earlier sentenced to 15 months in prison for revealing the names of the witnesses from the main proceeding. The second trial for contempt of court ended in the beginning of June and the court is expected to deliver a verdict.
