Moldova’s progress discussed in Germany

“Republic of Moldova: Between European Integration and Political Crisis” was the name of the roundtable conference organized in Berlin by the German-Moldovan Forum and the European Academy at Berlin, with support rendered by the Hanns Seidel Foundation. 

The event was attended by the Moldovan Deputy Premier, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, who made a report at the forum.

During his 2-day visit to Berlin, Minister Leanca met with his German colleague Guido Westerwelle briefing him on latest events in Moldova, the progress of dialog with the European Union, on the Transnistrian question, and others.

Guido Westerwelle welcomed the changes and reforms taking place in Moldova, and confirmed Germany’s readiness to back Moldova’s course for Euro-integration.
