Turkey looks to boost ties with Bulgaria

Turkish President Abdullah Gül said on Monday that Turkey is eager to boost ties with Bulgaria in every sphere.

“Turkey and Bulgaria have an important partnership and solidarity on regional platforms especially in the Black Sea and Balkans. The two countries also have sound cooperation in NATO and the EU,” Gül said on Monday at a dinner hosted by Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov in Sofia.

The Turkish president said his visit would contribute to friendly relations and further cooperation between Turkey and Bulgaria.
