Hadzic to be extradited to Hague

After briefly meeting his lover and their child on Friday morning, the arrested war-crimes suspect was expected to pay a short visit to his mother in Novi Sad before leaving for The Hague.

Croatian Serb war crimes suspect Goran Hadzic was due to leave Belgrade for The Hague on Friday, having signed a document that he will not appeal against a court decision to extradite him.

Police arrested the former leader of the Croatian Serbs in the Fruska Gora hills of northern Serbia on Wednesday. He was then placed in the detention unit of Belgrade’s special court for war crimes.
