German FM visits Montenegro

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has commenced a two-day visit to Podgorica to discuss European Union integration and economic opportunities with Montenegro.

During his visit, Westerwelle will hold meetings with Prime Minister Igor Luksic, President Filip Vujanovic, Parliamentary Speaker Ranko Krivokapic and his Montenegrin counterpart Milan Rocen.

Westerwelle and Rocen are expected to jointly sign a formal agreement between the two governments regarding the graves of war victims, while discussions will also cover bilateral relations between Montenegro and Germany and the former Yugoslav republic’s path towards European integration.
