Bulgarian delegation to visit Kosovo

Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Miroslav Naydenov and a business delegation from the agricultural sector are to visit the Republic of Kosovo on August 17.

Minister Naydenov will meet with Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry Mimoza Kusari-Lila, as well as with Kosovo counterpart Blerand Stavelici, with whom he would open a Business Forum. During the forum, the two countries will discuss the opportunities for export of Bulgarian food and agricultural products to Kosovo.

The visit of the Bulgarian delegation to Kosovo is organised at the invitation of Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Mimoza Kusari-Lila, who was in Bulgaria last week, when Kusari-Lila said that her country needs food and agricultural products import from Bulgaria worth around EUR 300 million, so as to fill in the deficit at the market.
