The UN Security Council will meet on Tuesday in New York to discuss Kosovo and review the latest quarterly report on submitted by Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
The focus of the meeting will be the crisis that started late July with the Kosovo Albanian authorities’ attempt to seize by force two administrative crossings in the north of Kosovo and Metohija.
The meeting was originally scheduled for Monday, but it had to be postponed because of the weather in New York.
Although the report only covers the period between April 16 and July 15, the council will be informed about the latest events by Head of the UN Mission in Kosovo Farid Zarif, while the ambassadors will have an opportunity to present their countries’ views.
