Serbian Deputy PM to meet with EU commissioner

Serbian Deputy PM Božidar Đelić began his two-day visit to Brussels, where he will hold bilateral meetings with officials of the European Commission and parliament.

He will also open the “Serbia Days in European Parliament”.

The event is organized by his cabinet, the Serbian Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Culture, Media and Information Society.

On the first day of his stay, Đelić will confer with EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule about Serbia’s progress in EU integrations, on the eve of publishing the opinion regarding the possible candidate status and determining the date for beginning of negotiations, the Serbian government said in a statement.
