Romania criticizes the Dutch position on Schengen

Thursday interior EU ministers have to decide whether to join Romania and Bulgaria to Schengen area. The Netherlands threatened to impose veto on the removal of border controls. According to the Romanian State Secretary Marian Tutilesku the Dutch veto is linked with the position of the extreme right populist Party of Freedom. In an interview for Austrian Der Standard daily Tutilesku states that the Dutch position is not decided by experts, and by politicians.
