PACE rapporteur will visit Kosovo

Björn von Sydow (Sweden, SOC), Chairman of the Political Affairs Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) and rapporteur on the situation in Kosovo*, will make a field visit on 2-4 November 2011 to evaluate the political situation, a press release of the Council of Europe informs.

The rapporteur will have meetings with the authorities of Kosovo and also with representatives of political forces, local government and NGOs. He will give lectures at the think-tank PIPS (Pak Institute for Peace Studies) and at the University of Mitrovica-North.

Mr von Sydow will hold a press conference at the Council of Europe Office in Pristina on Friday 4 November at 11 a.m.
